A poem

At Baby massage today we where given this pome and I thought I would share it, it has made me feel a bit better about the state of my house, and also reminded me that my little boy wont be little for long and we should make the most of this time together, and not feel bad about lying on the floor playing while the washing builds up

My dishes went unwashed today
I didn't make my bed
My baby spoke to me
Even though his words unsaid
His eyes were full of promise
His smile said come and play
I took his lead and followed
Oh yes we went adventuring
My little child and I
Exploring all the senses
We felt that we could fly
Tiny fingers enjoyed a nursery rhyme
His little toes danced a song
That my house was neglected
That I didn't brush the stairs
In twenty Years no one on earth
will even know or care
That I helped my little child
To noble adult grow
In twenty years the whole wide world
May look, see, and know
